Beatboxer/Vocal Sculptor Jason Singh was commissioned by the National Trust to create a series of recordings based upon and inspired by Spring, Birdsong and Nature.
Jason also has a strong link and connection to Tatton Park, a National Trust site in Cheshire. Tatton Park was used as a source of inspiration for the recordings to capture the moods and feel of the landscape, wildlife, forest and woodland environments.
The result is three pieces of music/sound art which encapsulate three moods of a Spring day; Morning, Afternoon and Evening. Each piece is created entirely vocally and is inspired by birds, nature and wildlife which include Blackbird, Robin, Tree Sparrow, Crow, Skylark, Great Tit, Cuckoo, Collard Dove, Woodpecker, Ducks, Buzzard, Warbler, Nightingale, Tawny Owl, Common Frogs, Crickets, Wind, Streams and Babbling Brooks.
